In Line Skates
There is a wide variety of In-Line Skates classified according to the type and style of skating and level of skating expertise. These various types of In-Line Skates include recreational type, aggressive type, speedy type, women's type, and hockey skating.
Each type and style of In-Line Skate has many similar components, namely, wheels, frames, uppers, bearings, brakes, and closures. Wheels are commonly made up of polyurethane, while the metallic frames are faster, stiffer, and lighter. Buckles and Laces closure systems are the two most widely used. The most common braking system is a pad or cylinder on the rear wheel which stops movement through applying pressure on the heel.
